Dorset Council UK has joined forces with BCP Council and Barclays Digital Eagles to host the county’s first-ever live and interactive coding day for school children. The event will show young people the potential coding has in their increasingly digital futures.
Dorset Coding Day will host 2 sessions covering computer programming topics in Key Stage two and three curriculums. Run by Barclays Digital Eagles, the online sessions will enable schools to join in virtually from across the county.
IT specialists from local tech companies can also get involved. Join schools, in person, to inspire their students by sharing your experience of using coding in your career. Schools and IT specialists eager to get involved can register their interest at digitaldorset@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
